Please join us at the CCDC Friday, April 5th 12-1:30pm for a Lunch & Learn opportunity with a presentation by Miguel Roldán, Spanish architect and Director of the Barcelona Architecture Center, a collaboration with ITESM, Texas A&M University, Clemson University, University of Montreal and Universidad Iberoamericana de Mexico. His firm, Roldán + Berengué is highly regarded for innovation and excellence in the design of everything from public buildings and housing to interior, urban and industrial design. R+B has received numerous Spanish and European awards and prizes including their designation as a semifinalist for the Best of Europe Award and as a finalist in the European Contemporary Architecture Awards for the Mies Van Der Rohe Prize. Miguel’s talk will include discussion on design in a historic context, architecture and its integration into landscape, sustainable design approaches, urban housing typologies and design methodology.
