Intern Architect/Project Architect

Bello Garris Architects seeks an Intern Architect or Project Architect to join its team. This role is for a motivated, creative and technically-minded individual with a strong work ethic. As we are a small firm, the successful candidate will be involved in all phases of the work, from conceptual design through construction administration.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5-7 years commercial architectural experience, including construction document preparation and an ability to self-manage project assignments from start to finish (with oversight). Must be competent in AutoCAD and/or Revit and have good communication skills. Rendering and graphics skills are a strong plus.

Bello Garris Architects is a small, full-service architectural firm located in downtown Charleston, SC. We have several diverse and exciting projects, including hospitality, mixed-use, commercial office, historic preservation, and residential uses. We have a low-key, small firm environment and enjoy working with clients to create high-quality architecture.

Intern Architect 

Anderson Studio of Architecture and Design seeks a full-time dynamic Intern Architect to join our Charleston, SC office. The Intern Architect will be part of a design team, contributing to the success of client projects primarily through production tasks. Project locations range from the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions of the US to the Caribbean.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Graduate of an accredited 4 or 5 year architecture school • 1+ years experience as an Intern Architect, preferably in a firm with a high-end residential design and production focus • Proficiency with software programs to include: o ArchiCAD (preferred) o AutoCAD Architecture o Revit o Adobe Creative Suite o Microsoft Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel and Word • Knowledge of architectural graphic standards • Understanding of the architecture practice and associated processes • Field experience, including the capability to perform as-built measurements • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on communication, teamwork and collaboration • Ability to problem solve complex issues, both as a member of the team as well as individually • Highly organized • Ability to perform tasks in a logical and timely manner • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Must be motivated, willing to learn and take direction

Project Architect/Team Leader & Intern Architect

Glick/Boehm Architecture has immediate openings for the following positions:

Project Architect/Team Leader with 7 – 10 years experience.  This position involves managing a variety of projects simultaneously, planning and coordinating projects through all phases of development, preparing budgets and schedules.

Intern Architect with 3 – 5 years experience.

Both positions require working on a variety of projects including commercial, educational, institutional and hospitality.  Revit experience is required.
