architect or architectural intern

julia f. martin architects is seeking a full-time architectural intern (with professional architecture degree) or licensed architect, preferably with min. 2-3 years local experience and proficiency with autocad + sketchup (and/or revit), for work at a small firm downtown (residential and commercial, new construction and renovation/restoration, principally downtown).  would involve documenting existing/historic buildings, photographing projects, collaborating/drafting proposed designs & construction documents, site visits, client/civic relations, construction-phase interaction and some office organization.  prefer a passionate, confident, reliable, self-starter type, who likes accuracy, creativity, and good presentations.

this job will offer exposure to a wide array of professional experiences and could be a long-term opportunity for the right person.  remote office and other variations on the traditional employment arrangement can be considered.  keen sense of humor = big plus.

Qualified applicants should possess a BArch or MArch degree and have 3 years or more of experience in an architectural firm.
