BAR 2008 Schedule Changes Major projects (those with over 20,000 square feet of new construction) will be placed on the second meeting following the date of submittal. This offers an additional two weeks for interested parties to review plans and offer comments. The change will become effective with the December 31, 2007, deadline. Please note that projects of this size may require a Special BAR meeting per the direction of the Urban Design and Preservation Division. Please feel free to contact Charleston Department of Planning staff with any questions. BAR Application - Please see the City's website for more information. Upcoming Events The AIA Charleston Emerging Professional Committee has put together a quick 10 question survey and now is the time for you to fill it out! We would just like to have your input for the year so we can better serve you through events we put on. In support of the Emerging Professionals, the Charleston EP Committee along with the SC EP Committee hopes to provide development activities and programs including, but not limited to, field trips, lectures, seminars, happy hours and social events. It is our job to provide a forum in which the specific needs of emerging professionals can be discussed and addressed in a relaxed atmosphere.
