Project Coordinator for Architecture Firm

We are seeking a tech-savvy individual who wants to begin a career in architecture. The ideal candidate will be capable of working towards licensing within a few years and will be motivated to work effectively as a member of a team that focuses on major clients in fields such as healthcare, specifically prototypical healthcare for a national client

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Produce high-quality drawings using Autodesk Revit. 3-D rendering software knowledge a plus.
2. Work as a productive member of a team that is focused on ongoing, sequential projects for large clients. 
3. Demonstrate attention to detail and strive for consistent quality while supporting team schedules and deadlines.
4. Demonstrate personal initiative and ability to support co-workers by using IT skills to troubleshoot tech problems and develop improved methods and processes.
5. Invest consistent time in professional growth activities as part of a career path that leads toward licensing as a professional architect.

Skill/Ability/Knowledge Requirements:

1. BS/BA in architecture required; MS/MA Degree a plus
2. Licensed Architect a plus. 
3. Excellent skills in Autodesk Revit; broad IT skills a strong plus
4. Ability to work as a team member to achieve high output levels.
5. Self-directed; high energy level; high degree of personal initiative
6. Good judgment and personal maturity

Construction Administration Professional for Architecture Firm

We are seeking a professional who can support projects at the construction administration phase for an architecture firm with clients in fields such as healthcare, education, hotel/hospitality, or retail. The firm has both regional and national clients, and there will be opportunities for this position to travel. 

The successful candidate will bring one of two backgrounds to this important role; he/she will either be:

1) an intern architect, preferably on a licensure track, with several years of relevant experience in an architecture firm; or
2) a manager with a strong construction background. 

This position has strong growth potential, and provides a good opportunity for focused construction administration experience to meet IDP requirements. 

Initial focus will be on providing office-based support for CA project managers, but the firm is seeking an individual with high growth potential who is eager to grow into a field role.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide support at the construction administration phase for an architecture firm with a diversified practice. 
2. Maintain high levels of personal output while assuring that schedules and deadlines are consistently met, and that project communication is timely and effective.
3. Support multiple projects with a minimum of direct management oversight. Ability to make sound decisions in the field, and to report issues to management when necessary. 
4. Participate in management meetings where feedback is provided to assure effective design and strong quality assurance, and where resources are allocated to assure that all customer requirements are met in a cost-effective way, and that staff is sized appropriately based on workload.
5. Invest consistent time in professional growth activities.
6. Develop ability to work directly with key clients and client representatives as necessary.

Skill/Ability/Knowledge Requirements

1. 2+ years’ experience as an intern architect or 2+ years’ experience in construction management, including experience with contract documents, field observation, and submittal review.
2. BS/BA required; MS/MA degree a plus.
3. Ability to support multiple projects and work independently.
4. Aptitude for effective use of technology in performing daily tasks.

We are seeking a production-oriented architect capable of leading a team focused in our ecclesiastical / worship studio.

The successful candidate will be a highly productive working architect with demonstrated skills in conceptualizing and adapting design templates that will enable efficient completion of projects. Strong process-management skills and the ability to make effective use of support staff in completing multiple projects in an accurate and timely way.

jfm architects is a small firm located downtown and primarily focused on the peninsula. we are looking for an architect/designer to help with all aspects of our practice

responsibilities will include...
documenting and preserving historic structures
designing renovations as well as new construction (residential and commercial)
resolving construction details and preparing construction drawings

applicant should have...
