You must be a great listener. You will drive the architectural creation for our clients under the leadership of the Project Manager and Design Director. You will be responsible for developing the design and translating the project into comprehensive construction documents. Experience and design knowledge is vital. You must know your audience and be effective in verbal and written communication with clients, review boards, consultants, and contractors. You will be expected to train, mentor, and provide direction for the team. You will be expected to manage multiple, shifting deadlines.

At LFK Architects, we have a studio for our Commercial Design as well as a Residential based Design. We are best defined by our commitment to serve our clientele through a strong charrette oriented design process.

We offer an extensive range of professional design services from Land Planning and Feasibility Studies to full service Commercial Design including; Office, Retail, Medical, Storage/Industrial, Educational, Preservation and Sustainable Design. This position will require a gifted design sensibility, general project/people management skills and drafting/production capabilities. The primary responsibilities include: production support and design development of project concepts into final construction documents including general project management, drafting and coordination with project consultants (Engineers & Contractors). Production must be executed within designated project schedules and submittal deadlines. Individual and team based production is required with accountability to the Project Architect.

The Architect or Level 3 will discuss the objectives, requirements, and budget of a project with clients. In some cases, provide various predesign services, such as feasibility and environmental impact studies, site selection, cost analyses, and design requirements.

You are a licensed Architect or a Level III

You have a Bachelor’s degree in Design

You have the ability to manage a project budgets and clientele

You have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret prints, architectural drawings, financial and job cost reports

You have the ability to efficiently use AutoCAD, Photoshop, Revit and Sketch up software


Has a minimum of 5 years of design experience or licensed.

Enjoys working independently

Proficient in using Office 365

Oversee, direct, and advise on reviews and interpretations of proposed designs, architectural drawings, and building specifications in accordance with required function and/or company standard for all assigned projects.

Oversee and ensure preparation of the project budget for all assigned projects as prepared.


Strong time management and organizational skills required
