We are currently seeking an experienced full-time architectural Project Manager to be design leaders and integral members of our team in our Pawleys Island, South Carolina office location. There will be options for expanding to Charleston area as well. Our project manager will be involved with commercial and residential projects in all aspects of project development. They will provide direction to colleagues and consultants at all levels to ensure the project is completed as planned, budgeted, and scheduled. Roles & Responsibilities
As part of our team, you’ll be involved in each phase of development from conceptual design through construction administration. Our project managers routinely interface with clients, contractors, project managers, engineers, and code officials. We believe the practice of architecture and design requires involvement in the entire process. Qualifications
Project Manager:
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture from a NAAB-Accredited program.
• At least 5 years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction firm serving commercial and residential clientele.
• Architectural license a plus.
• Experience with design production in Archicad/Revit/ or other BIM platform.
• Ability to produce phase documents in ArchiCAD/Revit or other BIM software.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team ethic.
• Work in a team environment that includes Graham Leigh staff, sub-contractors,
client contacts and their contractors/consultants.
• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, space planning.
Responsibilities
• Lead design teams in the development of project designs from conceptual sketches
through construction documents with a collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented
approach.
• Interpret and apply relevant building codes.
• Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of interns and other team members.
• Provide consistent and timely communication of project information to and from clients
and the project team.
• Produce aesthetically appealing designs.
• Assist in construction administration through conducting site visits.
• Foster and maintain positive professional working relationship among clients and team
members.
• Assist in preparing, participating, and leading client presentations.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and consultants.
